Fundraising

Our pre-school is a charity registered as Broughton Under Fives Association, registered charity number 1023385.

Our main financial source is the fees, covered both by funding from the Northamptonshire County Council and by parents, depending whether children are entitled to 15 hours free child care.

We do rely on donations and fundraising to fully cover our running costs. We run a series of fundraising events and activities in cooperation with our local community throughout the year.

Fundraising activities have helped to provide new toys and equipment for the pre-school.  We have also been able to fund special occasions in the past, like end of year treats and visits from Bugtopia, a Pirates and Princesses Party and a Seaside Day.

Getting involved

We welcome parents and the community to help with our fundraising efforts. Ideas are always welcome and your time spent helping us is invaluable.

Donations from private individuals and businesses are greatly appreciated and will be spent wisely to ensure that children have a variety of toys and activities available to them. Should you wish to make a donation, please email us on broughtonunder5s@hotmail.co.uk.

Ball

The ball is our main fundraising event attended by many from Broughton and surrounding villages. An excellent evening of good food and dancing with past themes ranging from Hollywood Glamour, the roaring twenties to Valentine’s night was put up by the committee in the past few years. We are currently working on the 2019 event.
